Set within mature Staffordshire parkland, Trentham Golf Club is one of England’s finest inland championship courses.

Originally established in 1894 and later redesigned by the legendary golf course architect Harry Colt, the course combines classic design with exceptional presentation to provide a memorable test for golfers of every ability.

Members and Visitors are able to enjoy a golfing experience both on and off the course, with facilities that few other clubs can match. Having hosted Open Championship Qualifying, England Golf, PGA and Staffordshire events for men, ladies and juniors, Trentham is currently the home of Staffordshire County Men’s Golf First Team.

I started as the assistant club professional in 1978 at Trentham Golf Club and it gave me the foundation for my professional career. Being an honorary member of the club is something that means a great deal to me. The course and practice facilities continue to improve year after year and excellent instruction is provided by the professional staff headed by Ashley Salt.
