Recent Course Improvements | Trentham Golf Club

The course has recently undergone a complete Bunker overhaul under the guidance of Gaunt Golf Design, together with the contractor, Profusion Environmental, completely remodelling all 56 Bunkers, so further enhancing its reputation for quality conditioning, strategic design and year-round playability which has made it one of the Midlands’ premier golfing venues.

A Classic Layout, Continually Evolving

Playing to a par of 72 for men and 73 for women, and measuring over 6,600 yards from the championship tees, Trentham has hosted Open Championship Qualifying, England Golf championships and numerous Staffordshire County events.

Every hole presents a different challenge. Gently undulating fairways are framed by magnificent, mature trees, while Colt’s thoughtful routing rewards strategic shot-making rather than simply power.

Whether you are playing Trentham for the first time or are a long-standing member, the course offers an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Immaculate greens, outstanding practice facilities, and a welcoming clubhouse complete a golfing experience that has earned Trentham its reputation as one of the country’s most respected members’ clubs.
